Aspen, CO.

Well Adam and I went out to Aspen for Zach and Nicole's wedding. It was amazing. I've been to Denver, but never much beyond the Springs. So this was a real treat. We've all agreed that we're not moving to CO anytime soon as the altitude was a bit much for all of us, but we all figured with the amount of traveling that happened, if that was the worse that could happen, we'd visit often! The wedding went off without a hitch, even the storm that appeared just before the ceremony didn't hit so nothing was soaked as we feared it would be. All the guests made it up the gondola to the 12,000 foot summit. The wedding was at the Aspen Mountain Club . It was amazing. The trip up was fab too. The boys all went in one gondola and Donna, Caron and I were in the other. While it stopped for awhile on our way to the top: perhaps the DJ was getting off or something with his equipment, and it got pretty steamy in there, the breeze was great while we road up. The views were amazing. Zach and his bros and dad looked incredibly handsome: the suits were great. The ladies were beautiful and Nicole was breathtaking. Every detail was perfect, right down to the save the seat cards, the little feathers on her veil and the lovely Riesling (which I don't like wine but I could have drunk 5 bottles of that stuff) It was amazing! (Loosen Bros. Riesling) The dancing was great, DJ fabulous and I had no complaints about the photographers: a first for me! They are amazing too! (www.dreamtimeimages.com) So I hope you enjoy my pics. They're not the official images, but I did take a few so I thought I would make them available. It's too much work to post them all here, so I'm putting some on my flickr site. it's easier to upload there. You can download the images from there too. Flickr. Z and N I will send you a disc with all the wedding pics on them.

Ahhh Colorado! These are the images from Independence Pass!

There are pine trees everywhere!

And once we entered Aspen, there were Aspens everywhere: go figure!

Can never make a normal face.... this is his normal.

The bro and sis.

Now that's a nice pic for the fridge. Hint hint.

Adam says this is so typical.

The last lunch: La CAntina: amazing mexican food!

Oh yeah and amazing margaritas!

1 hour before the gondola ride to thewedding, Z is taking some Z's.

The gondola ride. I thought I lost some weight: what did I look like before?

Stud Muffins.

Z and T never had their pants hemmed. Z's was 6 inches too long and got the tape treatment, T's was 3 inches and got a real hem, just minutes before we left for the mountain.
Whose kid is that?

I guess I will claim him.

Whose kids are these?

Contemplation.

Love the seating cards.

tight quarters.

There is a tear there, hard to see, but if you zoom you can see it. Go Lehmann bro number 3!

Stunning, right?

What a view.

My favorite of the day!

An amazing mountain sunset.

Love the place cards. Love the nicknames.

Amazing details Nikki, really amazing.

And the dress "bustle" was so perfect for you. You went from Classic Bride to Hot Bride. Way to go chica!

Don't give the sis in laws wine and expect us to behave. Argh matey.
Which are scarier?

After the dancing we had a firework send off, well a sparkler send off, but they were 2 feet long. They lasted forever.

The run through: cool pic right?
